HISTORY
Tayfire (International)
Ltd commenced trading in 2002 when the well known fire protection
company Omnifire (UK) Ltd ceased trading after 25 years due to the
retirement of Mr Norman Aitken the Managing Director.
Having worked for Omnifire for over 12 years Petra
Lilley purchased the Firecote business. Firecote is a globally
recognised name within the fire protection industry and is used
by local authorities, government departments, small, national and
international businesses.
Our strong dynamic team has risen to the challenging needs of customers in the commercial and industrial sectors and offers solutions to architects, structural engineers and builders for their fire protection requirements.
NEW PRODUCT INFORMATION
Through continuous innovation and rising to meet the demands and challenges of 21st century building design, 2005 saw the development and successful testing of seismic seals capable of fire protecting joints with movement from 20mm up to 275mm giving fire ratings up to 4 1/2 hours. This product was developed to complement our existing Flexjoint system.
As an addition to the timber intumescent coating range, 2006 has
so far seen the development of a water based non-intumescent coating
to provide Class 0 fire protection to internal or external timbers.
Since the business was established in 2002 we have increased our product range and customer base both in the UK and overseas by offering quality products that are competetively priced.
